Introduction
Taste in music
is a very subjective issue; there is no "right" and "wrong". These
pages present the opinions of one anonymous group of people on music.
None of the people involved are published musicians, they're just
people who spend lots of money buying and listening to music, both live
and pre-recorded.
There are
already many very good music review sites out there, one of our
favourites is the excellent W & A's Record
Reviews, and AllMusic isn't too bad either.
However, most such sites are slanted towards the USA view of
things; we're Australians, and much of the music that we like wasn't
widely available overseas, and our tastes don't always agree :)
Note that we don't necessarily own all the recordings listed here; some
of it is borrowed from friends, or may have since been sold.
Don't bother asking for copies of the recordings.
The plan is that
we listen to stuff (and list it in "What We're Currently Listening
To"), and once we've formed some opinion on it, we move it to
"Reviews", and share our opinions. It's not exactly rocket
science!
