TREK ROUTE (MAP)

A Glacier lake in a splendid secluded position surrounded by magnificent peaks.

Package includes:-

Transportation:
From Delhi to Manali and back to Delhi in roadways deluxe coach (non A.C). From Manali to Jagatsukh and back in Local available bus.

Accommodation:
Hotel at Manali/Solang and Tented accommodation on sharing basis during the trek.

Food:
Delicious and nutritious vegetarian food will be prepared in the camps.

Equipment for the trek:
We provide all equipment for the trek like alpine tents (common carry), sleeping bag, carrymat, strong technical nylon fabric rucksack (self carry). Participants are required to bring their own personal Kit

ITINERARY:-

Day 1: Delhi-Manali
(562 kms) Departure from Delhi in a (non A.C) deluxe coach in the evening.

Day 2: Manali-Acclimatization Day
Arrive Manali and transfer to the Solang Nalla camp / Institute Hostel at Manali. After lunch, trek to Patalsu for an acclimatization walk. Evening at leisure and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Jagatsukh & Trek to Khanol-(2580 mt)
After breakfast, transfer to Jagatsukh (18 km) by Local bus and trek upto Khanol, 4 km alongside Jagatsukh Nala.

Day 4: Trek to Chikka-(3005 mt)
After breakfast, trek upto Chikka, 4 km alongside Jagatsukh Nala.

Day 5: Chikka To Seri (3990 mt)( Gradual climb for 5 hours/ 6km and reach to the Camp site at Seri, a large alpine plateau famous for its wild flowers and according to a legend, the Pandava brothers (of Mahabharata Fame) used to cultivate rice here. Overnight in tents.

Day 6: Trek to Base Camp (4880 mt)
A 3 hours steep climb along Tanta water fall up to top of Tanta rock, then gradual climb up for another 3 hours for Chota Chander tal, base camp of Mt. Deo Tibba and Manali peaks. The camp site gives an extensive panorama all round of the snow covered Deo tibba (6001 mt) and Norbu's peak (5226 mt) range. After lunch experience on Deo Tibba Glacier and climb up to Main Chander Tal. Overnight in tents at Chota Chander Tal.

Day 7: Trek to Chikka
Trek down to Chikka.

Day 8: Trek to Jagatsukh
Trek down to Jagatsukh via Chikka and Solan Nalla / Institute by local bus.

Day 9: Visit Manali
Free time for the members to Visit Hadimba Devi, Monastery, Mountaineering Institute or shopping at Manali etc. Departure by bus to Delhi by 4 pm.

Day 10: Delhi
Arrival at Delhi around 8 am.
