Mermaid |
|
Yep here we have got a Mermaid. They
were so beautiful that the sailors jump into
the Sea and died. |
|
|
|
- The folk of the seas followed a
separate evolutionary path and
are actually not 'people' at all,
though we will use this common
reference. Mermaids have at times
in history been inaccuratelyclassified
as Homo-Marinus. This has been
proven to be a scientific fallacy.
|
- It is known that land mammals arose
from the sea. Mermaids are a
co-evolutionary form, much as other
animals which have evolved on
different continents to fill similar
ecological niches, often bear a
striking resemblance to their
counterparts on other continents, so
mermaids evolved to fill a similar
niche beneath the seas as is filled by
humans on land.
|
|
|
- There is in fact a very limited
evolutionary relationship between
mermaids and humans. Whereas we
have a relatively close relationship
with other primate species, such as
gorillas, other branches of the
mermaids evolutionary tree have
not survived.

- Oceans, lakes, rivers, desert oases,
mill ponds and, in desperate
situations and times of drought,
sightings in livestock troughs have
been made.
