Silent Scope

This truly original title is best known for being an arcade game. Seen in any respectable games arcade, the world's only sniper sim is on it's way to PS2. In the arcade we saw a hefty sniper rifle bolted onto the machine unfortunately there are no plans to make a peripheral as such.

The gun in the arcade sported a little screen inside the scope which showed a zoomed version of your target. This has been cleverly adapted to console by using one of the shoulder buttons to bring up such a scope on screen. So there is no need to worry you will still we able to stealthily pop off your victim's heads in your own home.

I can see why magazines have said the game can become a little tedious but think of how much fun you can have while it does last. Available at launch with Playstation 2 it has to be purchased.
