I have very little information on my Kennedy Family. I am told my ggrandfather Issac Frock Kennedy was born in Illinois in 1864 that is during the civil war so I guessing his father was home at that time. He came to Texas sometime before 1884 because he  married Mary Elizabeth Corrin born 1868 in Direct Texas in that year. I  am willing to share the descendents I have. Does anyone out there have information  of our
ancestors.
Thanks

I am searching for Alford KENNEDY, the father of Cenus Hardy KENNEDY.  Cenus was born February, 1870, in Tennessee.  It is believed he was born in Scotts Hill, TN, but cannot be traced to that place.  We recently discovered his father's name was Alford.  Alford had been married before and had two or three sons from his first marriage.  His second wife was part Indian and had a daughter named Cordie from her first marriage.  Both Alford and his wife died before 1880 and Cenus and his brother Sam were raised by a preacher with the last name of HALL who lived in Jackson, TN.  Cenus left when he was 17 and moved to Lake Co., TN where he met my great grandmother, Mary Elizabeth FRAME  and was married.  Sam KENNEDY went to Paris, Texas where he died in the early 1900's.  Their half-sister, Cordie married someone with the last name of Balser, had 3 sons and lived in Owensboro, KY.  If anyone has any information on any of the above, please contact me.
