Sistercare offers a free weekly support group for battered lesbians. This is the only
lesbian-specific support group in South Carolina. Call Sistercare's Crisis Line for more
information. This group is strictly confidential. The facilitator is a master's level lesbian
therapist, and has been conducting the group for over 5 years.
The shelter is also lesbian-friendly.
