Microsoft Office 9x
In-depth knowledge of every function of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Binder and Outlook, and very full knowledge of Access. Experience of installing Office, setting up POP3 mail through Outlook, introducing new users and supporting use of advanced features. Also complete knowledge of FrontPage, to be incorporated into MS Office 2000.

Adobe PageMaker and Photoshop
Designed and prepared RCVS newsletter for printers using PageMaker and PhotoShop. Good design sense and full technical understanding of typography, colour correction and layout. Regular use of PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro for web design; also day-to-day working knowledge of other graphics packages such as Aldus Photostyler and MS PhotoEditor. Good knowledge of more specialised graphic design aids such as Reptile, Xara 3D and morphing package WinImages.

Internet Access
Setup and troubleshooting of MS Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator suite, including use of multiple proxies, firewalls and other security features. Also use of FTP and telnet, both via a web browser and under specialist software (eg WS_FTP), and installation and use of VRML browsers. Use of email and Usenet, including etiquette and information searching.

Music Software
Digital audio recording and playback, audio clean-up, filtering and transformation, music creation using samples and MIDI. High-end audio applications often require careful interfacing with Windows 9x, especially if designed to run under DOS or Windows 3.x.
