On Memorial Day 2000, a group of 9 of us went to the Colorado River on a boating campout. Although we occupied a land of scorpions, wild mules, coyotes, rattle snakes, lizards, river fish, bats, and large birds such as hawks, we were able to coexist with our commodities and our fun.

I took this picture on a solo hike several miles away from the campsite. The campsite is so far away, you almost can't see it in this version of the picture. It's a white spec that has to be pointed out about a third of the way accross the picture on the bottom. See the arrow?
The temperature was about 115 degrees F and I only had 64 oz of water with me. It felt like SCUBA diving, but my limited resource was water instead of air.

Ok, bad picture, but I wanted one with the hat on before...
Duh! Don't take action photos with only 400 speed film, you'll be mad!
