HERE ARE SOME PARENTS TIPS ON KEEPING YOUR CHILD SAFE.

A stranger is anyone you and your parents don't know very well, even if he or she is nice to you or gives you things. Don't ever go with a stranger unless he tells you your secret code word you and your parents decided on.

Never go into anyone's home without your parents permission.

Never go near a car with someone in it. Never get into a car without your parents permission even if the person in it says your parents told told them to pick you up.

If you become separated from your parents while in a store or other public place, don't wander around looking for them. Go to the nearest checkout counter and ask for assistance. Never go to the parking lot.

No one has the right to touch you and make you feel uncomfortable. You have the right to say no.

If someone is following you, go to a place where there are other people and ask for help. Don't try to hide. Avoid walking or playing alone.

Adults usually do not ask children for directions. If someone should stop the car asking you for directions, don't go near the car. Run away in the opposite direction the car is pointed in.

Never tell anyone over the phone you are home alone.

Never answer the door when you are home alone. Call 911 or a neighbor if someone tries to get into the house or if there is an emergency.

Tell your parents if anyone asks you to keep a secret or if someone offers you gifts or money or wants to take your picture.

If you are in trouble, yell HELP or FIRE, don't just scream.

Never go to meet someone you met on the internet. If someone is saying anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, tell your parents and have them monitor the conversation you are having on-line.

EVERY 40 SECONDS A CHILD IS REPORTED MISSING...
MANY ARE NEVER FOUND

Innocent children are being taken from their playgrounds, schools and homes by angry non-custodial parents, family friends or even worse, strangers. The pain left in their wake is incomprehensible. No parent should have to endure the thought or the occurance of their children being abducted. No child should have to worry about being abducted. But in the society we live in it has become an everyday occurance.

You are about to see a very large number of missing children in the next few pages. There is a mother somewhere without her daughter. There is a father who is still waiting to play ball with his missing son. Please take a good long look at these children and their accused abductors and report any information to Child Quest International, immediately. We are working 24 hours a day to get these kids back to safety.

Here are the numbers to call to give information or to have any questions answered. Thanks so much for taking the time to care. We're all doing our part to keep hope alive..

According to a study done by the U.S. Justice Department, 359,000 children are kidnapped each year, including 4,600 by people who are not relatives. Many of these abductions end tragically in rape, assault, and even death. These figures don't even include an estimated 114,600 kidnapping attempts, nearly 500,000 runaways and 127,000 abandonments!
