HOW PARENTS CAN HELP

ALL of the adults assisting Troop 52 are volunteers; the only way the Troop can continue to function is if everyone does their share.

We believe all parents should be prepared to assist on occasion by providing transportation for Troop events. The Transportation Coordinator will be calling for your assistance when needed. Please be prepared when your son comes home announcing a trip is coming in the near future.

Additionally, we need help from time to time with preparing for events such as camp outs, scout community projects, and anything that a few extra hands would mean more safety and even MORE FUN! If you have a hobby or profession that may be interesting or educational, let us know. Our Assistant Scoutmaster in charge of Merit Badge Counselors would be glad to help you see where your talent can benefit your scout!

Parents are encouraged and invited to join our Troop Committee, which meets on the date's listed on our yearly schedule. Please call or e-mail if more information is needed. If you are not sure, come once and visit. The more input you have in the Scout program your son is involved in, the more programs we can run, more advancement opportunities for your son, and you will see why HE wants to come back every week! It is a lot of FUN!
