StartUpStreet.com, Raleigh, NC - October, 2000 - Present Web Developer / Graphic Design. Work with Chief Technical Officer to maintain and design company website at www.startupstreet.com. Responsible for updating and managing all front end dynamic content and includes for both JSP and HTML pages and all Flash animation. Use Macromedia Flash and Fireworks to create conference invitations and announcements for both web and mass email. Responsibilities also include working in conjunction with Marketing personel to design and layout conference materials and invitations for print using Adobe PageMaker, Photoshop and Illustrator. Currently redesigning website front end look and feel and navigation for both public and private pages in a test server environment to eventually replace the current site. Responsible for the design, building and maintenance of NetGift's corporate websites at NetGiftinc.com and NetGift.com. Assisted Chief Technical Officer with programming changes and updates to asp scripts for gift registry templates. Responsible for the implementation of the NetGift registry into partner and retailer websites and shopping portals. Worked with retailers such as LLBean and BottomDollar/ShopNow to customize the look and feel of the gift registry templates and integrate them into the online shopping environment.. Custom Coatings Inc. / Time Cap Labs, Farmingdale, NY - July 1996 to March 2000. Assistant Manager, Shipping and Recieving Began with company handling all pick-ups and deliveries, receiving and sampling of raw materials according to GMCP manufacturing standards for the Pharmaceutical industry. Eventually moved up to become Assistant Manager of Shipping and Receiving responsible for Inventory control of a Pharmaceutical warehouse using a Windows NT based Bin Management System. Telicare, Cablevision channel 25, Uniondale, NY - December 1996 to January 1998. Production Assistant. Performed as Technical Director, Audio engineer and Camera operator during the taping and post-production of cable television shows. Also handled pre-production Audio recording and microphone setup and layout of stage sets and lighting. United Parcel Service, Farmingdale, NY - August 1989 to June 1996. Worked part-time loading and preparing daily delivery routes. Eventually moved on to work as a full-time delivery driver. Handled all daily commercial and residential delivery and pick-up services and special services for commercial business. |
