How Do You Like Me Now?
How do you like me now, my dear?
Am I all that you thought I would be?
You got swept right up in my hurricane
But there's no way you know how I feel.
The storm of my life is hovering here
Are you scared yet? The gale from my heart
Is ready to blow you away at a whim
It will chill you, then tear you apart.
How do you like me now, my dear?
Do you like all my madness, my tears?
I seem to have drawn you in somehow
Run away, I shout, but you don't hear.
You daring young man, you're a brave one,
Trying to reach to my heart
Go away, find a field and start digging
China would be a good start.
How do you like me now, my dear?
With all my sarcasm and wiles
I look so controlled on the surface
But you happened below all the smiles.
Give up, boy, and go away softly
Be relieved that you're still halfway sane
Forget me, forget all my darkness
But remember, please, just - my name.
