A Prayer for Patience

Lord,
    please help me to be patient with others. Many times I see the imperfections and immaturities in other people and ignore them in myself. I bog down in frustration because I concentrate on these things about others. It interferes with the things I need to be doing and keeps me from having the cheerful outlook I know that You wish me to have. Please help me to find something good in each of the people around me. Help me concentrate on those good things and ignore the bad. Let Your light shine through in my actions and speech, so that I can show the wisdom and strength I would wish to see in others.
