Natural Flow Newcastle Eagles claimed their first win
over Manchester since January 1998 to kick off their uni-ball trophy campaign with a 93-79
victory.
The game was delayed by 35 minutes, but it didn't stop the
Eagles from getting out of the blocks quickly to lead 33-18 at the end of the first
quarter.
An eight minute spell without Newcastle scoring saw
Manchester net 20 points without reply and close the gap to within six.
