Giants 71 - 105 Eagles
Manchester Giants have made it very
difficult to qualify from Uni-ball Trophy Group C after Friday night, with this 105-71
loss to the Newcastle Eagles at the MEN Arena.
Giants will now have to beat the Milton
Keynes Lions at the MEN Arena on Boxing Day to boost their chances of qualification, but
that still all depends on other results in group C.

Newcastle Eagles led from the start and opened up a double figure lead in the first
quarter which the Giants could never catch up. Tony
Windless helped keep the Giants at arms length, and led all scorers with a sparkling 43
points.
Justin Phoenix was the leading scorer for the giants by
mustered just 15 points. |
