Riders 84 - 88 Giants
Manchester Giants notched up their
third victory of the BBL Championship season with a 88-84 road victory over the Leicester
Riders.
The Giants looked to be have the
Championship points in the bag leading 80-66 with 2m 30s remaining before a spirited
Riders fightback forced a 14-4 tear and trimmed the defecit to 84-80 with 40s remaining.
The Giants however held on making the
crucial free throws at the death. Giants Brian Earl top scored in the game with 24 points,
Larry Johnson had 22 for the Riders.
