Congratulations to Environmental Studies teacher
James Edwards who was awarded the Conservation Educator of the Year
for Bucks County and Pennsylvania for 2001. A teacher at Neshaminy
for 33 years, this is the second time Edwards has won this prestigious
award.
"To have your peers in the field of conservation and environment
education select you for this type of recognition, having them say
you are one of the best among us, is a fantastic feeling, "
he said. Edwards enjoys taking his students beyond the classroom,
getting them involved in many conservation projects and taking them
out in the field to learn.
