You need to UNP PAGA1.002, then run this patch.
You get unlimited lives.

--- The internal cheat :
At the game menu screen, press [Ctrl]+[A]+[L].
You will be taken to another screen where you can
enter a number. Choose one from this list :

325 - Gives you 99 lives.
589 - Goes to the end-game sequence.
822 - Double point value.
7xx - Level warp where xx is the level to warp to.
642 - Turn god mode on.
643 - Turn god mode off. (Information from Cheat Machine)
