What are the basic steps in creating a web page?

1. Plan your Web Page
�� Decide on your content.

2. Design (sketch out) your Web Page

Why build a Web Page?

��� Well, there are many reasons to do this. You can advertise and sell things, support a cause, share knowledge, promote a group, or simply do it for fun.

What are tags?

Tags are an HTML instruction. They usually come in pairs - an opening and a closing. The opening comes first...before any text or images...and the closing comes last. (i.e., for new paragraph we would use

� at the beginning of the paragraph and

at the end. Tags are what make up HTML.

Where can I find web space?

There are various places that you can get Free web space. Two examples are Fortune City and Geocities. You can also do a search for "Free Web Space" and you will be surprised at what you will come up with. A good search engine that I use frequently is http://www.dogile.com.
