• This surgical procedure can be performed on an outpatient basis, under either general or local anesthesia, depending on the preference of surgeon and patient.
    What happens after?
  • You will usually be required to wear elastic dressing for several days following the procedure to provide support and to maintain your new shape.
  • Most patients experience some bruising, minimal discomfort and swelling which may last for a few weeks.
  • Most patients resume normal activity or return to work within a few days of the surgery.
  • It takes up to six months before the final result of surgery is apparent. However, a vast majority of patients are functional and presentable in 1 to 2 weeks.
    What are the Risks?
  • There are risks as in any surgical procedure, such as infection, bleeding, scarring, skin irregularities, etc.
