M & B Productions began in December 2000 by DeArris Brumfield And Farris Malone. Their goal for starting this organization is to provide entertainment for young adults ages 13-21. This father and son duo are currently having parties for high school students. They have a plan to expand to the suburbs with citywide parties, and eventually promote mini concerts featuring some of the popular recording artists of 2000-01'. Young adults, keep your eyes peeled for DeArris and Farris because M & B will be the trendsetters for the millennium.
DeArris Brumfield, a senior at Western Hills High, is very active in the community basketball league. He is currently gaining experience in the entertainment industry with the help from his partner and father Farris Malone. When he's not busy with school, homework, basketball and promoting parties, he likes to hang out with his friends and collect the latest hip hop CDs.
Farris Malone, is no stranger to the entertainment industry. Mr. Malone is a musician currently playing percussion for "Living Proof", a raggae funk band based in Cincinnati. As a promoter & entrepreneur, he has owned and ran a successful chain of discotheques and night clubs for teens and adults around the Cincinnati/Dayton area in the 80s. He, and his wife Brick Smith-Malone also owns Checkmate Malone Productions which promotes adult functions, concerts, and fashion shows. They also have the Checkmate Mannequin Models, in which they train models for runway fashion shows, video, and print advertising. Whenever he gets a break from his busy schedule, he likes chill with his family and play chess.
