Greetings once again and Welcome TO Mecha USA! It's been a long time since I've updated but hey,
I'm a busy guy, especially these days! Not Much has happened for
me but I promise to throw a few new pictures and even my synopsis
to story lines here. Perhaps I was slacking a bit since the last
time...
What are mecha?
Mecha: A large (usually 15 to 800 feet
in height, and 1 to an ungodly number of tons in weight)
robotic in nature, usually humanoid in appearance,
machine that allows it's user/operator to: a) preform
tasks otherwise unattainable by humans, b) preform
military operations with the intent of being a
psychological as well as a physical weapon, c) travel to
places unreachable by conventional means, or d) a
combination (usually the case) of the prementioned
definitions. Mecha tend to be quick for their size and
are almost always destructive in nature. We never see
mecha planting flowers or building houses. It's just not
done. Mecha are most commonly seen in Anime, or Japaneese
Animated films and shows. They like 'em. alot. And why
shouldn't they?! My favorite Mecha are from Virtual On,
the Macross series, Gundam W: Endless Waltz, and
Patlabor. they are just so darn cool!
The Beasts of Lore:
These are the mecha from Virtual On: Cyber
Troopers. The mecha in this picture are exceedingly cool
because you can not only watch them do their stuff but they
are in such a very nice video game that you can control their
every movement! Make them dash, run, shoot, nuke, and
otherwise decimate or evade your opponent in a one on one
death match! The goal of the game is to start with training
yourself as a pilot. You are you. The one behind the
JoysticK! You must train yourself to be a better pilot. After
you have established your fighting prowess agaisnt a few
machines, you go on a "real" mission to save the
earth and recover the lost moonbase which has been captured
by the Plotting, squatting, Z-gradt and his reprogramed
minions. (you'll see what I mean about squatting if you play
the game to the end). Some of his evil reprogrammed minions
include: swift and agile Fei yen, addept combatant Apharmed,
and the gargantuan powerhouse, raiden. They are all very
powerful Mechs but all have specific strengths and

look out for the new virtual on game coming out for the sega
dreamcast, Virtual ON: OT. It's looks very promising to say

This little beauty on the left is the amazing
Gundam Wing Zero. It hails from the the Gundam W: endless
waltz series. THis anime series is a spinoff of the main
series, Gundam through Gundam:0083. the endless waltz
storyline involves a probelem with the space colonies of
earth rebeling against the empire located on the planet. The
colonies send out their best pilots (all of which seem to be
young men in theire early teens) in their best mecha to
defend themselves from the evil empire and to free their
colonies from tyranny. The Mecha include (but are not limited
to): the flying gundam wing, the multi weaponed Heavy Arms,
the rending angel of death, Death Scythe, and lastly but not
leastly, the all powerful but mind warping Gundam Wing Zero.

This is the amazing
macross fortress more formally known as the SDF1. The
SDF1(super dimensional Fortress) is a gigantic battle ship
known thoughout the anime universe for it's awesome offensive
capabilities. It is also known as the Host for the singer,
Minmei Lynn. I'm almost sure that this is why a multitude of
giant aliens from all corners of the universe came millions
of miles from all ove r the galaxy to destroy it. THey want
to end the singing madness that has plagued us for so long...
My boyfriend is a pilot now... ARGHH!!! Ahhhhh! Stop the
madness! Whew! Anyway, the Macross fortress crash landed on
Earth in the mid nineties and upon the discovery of no life
on board, Was given a major overhaul by the people of earth.
After what seemed like an odd energy discharge from the main
cannon, a group of huge aliens try to capture the fotress and
fail due to the efforts of the brave people stationed on the
macross fortress. Thus begins the anime Super Dimensional
Fortress Macross, the longest running anime to date (which
will soon be available from those lovely people at Animeigo! Reserve yours today). It was done by the same
guys who did gundam and is quite marvelous. Also in the
series is Macross 7and the amazing Macross Plus (the highest
budgeted anime to date).
These are a mecha of a different color. These
monsters of destruction are the stars of the relatively new
series, "Neon Genesis: Evangelion." This series
takes place on the earth with a future much more bleak than
in some series. THe Mecha here are not neccessarily hereos,
The hereo's tool, or even the enemy. THey are creatures
Engineered by human Beings to Be guardians of all mankind.
Guardians against what though? THe threat that attacks
humanity are called Angels. THough almost supernatural in
there appearance and variety, they are in no way any sort of
heavenly host. They come to only to bring death and
destruction upon the human race whom already have been driven
to small pockets of populated areas. All Weapons Seem useless
against the evil beings known only as Angels. But there is
hope in the heart of 3 children and the Hands of the gigantic
technologicaly endowed beasts. At the hands of the pilots,
Will the Angels see defeat? WHat dark secrets are hidden
beneath the armor of the gigantic beasts? WHy is shinji so
good at controling the EVA 01? These are the mysteries of the
mecha but the biggest of all is can they win against the evil
giants and if so, at what cost?
The Mecha Master
THis section is about the role-character, the
mecha master. This is a chat alias/character that is used to
role fight and just chat in Animeigo. Back to fantasy. Yes, I
am the mecha master. I know about most mecha and have chosen
from the most powerful of metal beasts to lay waste to all
competitors in the jurai arena. I have recently been bestowed
with an awesome Peice of armor for fighting outside of my
mecha. Hopefully i won't have to use it much... For those of
you who don't know what the Jurai arena is, it is a chat room
in which anime loving people (otaku) come to see whose
imagination is more powerful. It's fun at times but other
times you just wanna sit on the virtual couch and gripe about
your real day over a cup of real or virtual sake. Heh! Well
anyway... I pride myself on my mastery of mecha and I have a
little site set up for the things I feel are important to the
