Re-install Video Drivers

go to the Start Button,
up to Settings, choose Control Panel.
After Control Panel comes up choose Display,
then choose Settings.
then choose Change Display Type.
On Adapter Type click Change.
Then choose Show All Devices.
Choose Standard and choose Standard VGA.
Click o.k. and reboot the computer when it tells you to.

This puts the Windows Standard Device VGA video drivers on on the computer.

Now go thru the same procedure again but instead of choosing Show All Devices choose Have Disk. Put the disk or CD-Rom that has the drivers that came with the Video Card and reinstall the drivers for your card.

If these don't work with Win 98 you need to go to the Video card's web site and download specific drivers for your Video Card and for the Windows 98 operating system.

Then go thru the whole procedure again.
