Blueberry Cupcakes

1-1/2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup margarine
1-1/2 cups floured blueberries
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Set aside.
Cream the shortening with sugar till fluffy; add eggs and beat well.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Mix extremely well. The longer you beat it the better the cake will be. I always try for at least 5 minutes.  Fold in vanilla and floured berries.
Pour batter into a well-greased and floured 8 inch square pan. Sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cut into squares and enjoy!
