to Rent
When I find the video I want to rent, what do I do?
If you are a member, please click on the Member button.
The Member Login page will be displayed. Enter "User Name" and "Password".
Be sure to click the Login button after entering in this information.
Do not hit the return key as this will result in an unsuccessful login.
If you are a new user, you should register as a member before start
your rental process.
How do I register?
After click on the New User button, the Registration Form
will be displayed. Following the instructions, you can enter in all the
necessary information and then check your profile carefully. If you need
to make changes, please click on the Reset button and make the appropriate
changes.
Click on the Submit button to submit your information to the
system. Do not hit the return key as this will result in an unsuccessful
registration.
If the information is complete, information is confirmed and submitted
into the system and the page of welcome will be prompted out; if not, a
message indicating the unfilled combo box will come out, fill it up and
submit again.
When I login successfully, what do I do?

with five options will be posted on the left hand side. You can choose
any option you want.
When I select Search Video, what
do I get?
Clicking on Search Video label, the Search Video page
will be prompted and the process will continue in Search Video.
In this page, you can search video By Type or By Title
or By Actor. After you enter the video information which you want
to search, click on the Search button. You can also click on Reset
button
for change the search information.
For a successful search, a Search video Result page will be coming.
In this page, a table with the following information will be displayed:
Video ID, Title, Actor, Time(min). You can click on the radio button in
front of the video ID to select the specific video.
Click on Show Detail Information button, the detail information
of individual video which you has chosen will continue showing in Video
Detail Information page.
In Video Detail Information page, click on Back button,
the process will go back to the previous page where the user comes from.
Renting process is terminated without any valid rental order being committed.
Click on Rent button, the process will go to Rent Video page
if the Status indicates "in Store", otherwise, the system will pop out
a message indicating that the desired video is not available.

In Rent Video page, what do
I do?
If this page is started by you click on the Rent Video option
on the Member Menu, you can type the necessary video information
in the text boxes; if this page is started by you click on Rent
button in Video Detail Information page, all information in the
text boxes is automatically posted, you cannot perform any operation in
the text boxes.
Click on Rent button, rental order will be passed into the system and
a valid rental is accepted if the information is valid, otherwise, the
system will pop out a message indicating that the desired video is not
available.
Click on Cancel button, the system will terminate the rental process,
no valid rental is committed. Process will go back to previous page.

How can I update my personal information?
Click on Update Personal Information, the page Update Personal
Information displays your current personal information.
Change the information which you want change, and click on the Update
button, the information given will be submitted to the system. A feedback
message of successful or unsuccessful updating will be posted.
Click on Back button, the information given will be cancel. The
updating process will be terminated and no updating is committed. Process
will go back to the page where the user comes from.

How can I know my rental information?
When you click on Display Rental Information from Member Menu,
the page with the same title will be displayed. A table shows your rental
information: "Video ID", "Title", "Due Date", and "Penalty".

Do I need Log Out?
After you complete a rental session, it's important to Sign Out. This
guarantees that no one else can access your secure account while
you're away from your computer.
Just click on the Log Out option from Member Menu, you
can get a message of successful sign out.

Will I be charged sales tax?
By the law, the sales tax should be charged. However, for easy to process
rental payment, the prices listed above are tax included.
How can I pay for rentals?
You can only pay for rentals with a credit card.
Video World accepts Visa, Master or American Express cards.
You will only be charged for items that have mailed.
Note: Please be sure to provide your exact
billing address and telephone number. Incorrect or incomplete orders may
cause delays in processing your order.
I want to keep my games longer than 9 days, what should I do?
No problem. Just keep the videos and your credit card will automatically
be charged. Video World will charge the original rental price for every
extended rental
period. Extended rental periods are 7 days.
For example: Your rental period ends on 7/2, if your video is postmarked
anytime between 7/3-7/9, we will charge you for one extended rental period.
If your game is postmarked anytime between 7/10-7/16, we will charge you
for 2 extended rental periods, etc.
If a game is past due more than 2 months, then we will charge you for
the full retail price of video (extended rental fees are deducted).

Period
How do I know when my rental period starts?
Your rental period starts the day you rent the video on line. We will
mail you the videos which you rented in two days. Your rental period is
indicated on the address label of the package the videos arrived in.
How will my videos arrive?
Your videos will arrive to you through the Canada Postal Service
in Video World packaging. We include a pre-addressed, pre-paid mailer for
your convenience.
When do I need to return the videos?
Rentals must be postmarked (stamped by the post office) by the last
day of the rental period to avoid extended rental fees. Your rental period
is indicated on the address label of the package the videos arrived in,
and is indicated on the bill also.
I received my videos too late. What should I do?
You should contact us. Please email us at [email protected]
with "Late Arrival" written in the subject line. Include your name, user
ID, order number, and date you received your videos. We will gladly extend
your rental period so that you have them for a full 9 days and will email
you back with those dates.

Will I receive an email confirmation when my video has shipped?
Email confirmations are sent the day your video has shipped. Please
read your email confirmation carefully. Confirmations show every video
that was ordered. You MUST click on the link to see which video was actually
shipped. If a video has shipped, the word "shipped" in red is displayed
below the video picture.
What are my shipping options?
Shipments are made through Standard First Class mail. This method will
be used unless you note otherwise. A Priority Mail option is available
for those customers
who prefer having their games sent priority mail.
Pricing is as follows:
1.Standard First Class mail
Shipping time will be 2 - 4 business days,
depending on where you live.
Standard shipping is now FREE!
2.Priority Mail
Shipping time will be 2 - 3 business days
$4.50 per order
I am ready to return my videos, what do I do?
To return your rentals, just place them into the pre-paid, pre-addressed
mailer and drop them in the mail. You will receive a confirmation from
Video World confirming that we have received your video.
Will I get confirmation that my video(s) has been received by Video
World?
Video World will send an email confirming the titles of videos that
have been received at our warehouse. Email confirmations are usually sent
the day videos
arrive.
How do I report shipping problems?
If you have any shipping problems, please report them to us immediately.
Please write to [email protected]
with "Shipping Problem" written in subject line. Please provide us with
your name, user ID, order number, and state the problem
clearly. Providing this information will help us expedite your request.
We will get back to you promptly with a solution.
I have lost my return mailer. What should I do?
Another option is to request a new mailer. Please email us at [email protected]
with "Lost Mailer" written in the subject line. Include your name, address
and order number in the body of the text. We will send you another package
for your rental return.
Please allow 2-3 days for delivery. Please note that you will be charged
a $3.00 fee if we send you a new mailer.

Failure to include this information we delay our ability to process your
return by 4-6 weeks. Please note that videos damaged in packaging not provided
