Teens and online shopping don't click

Four teens were given $500 to spend on back-to-school shopping on the Internet. They tracked what was purchased, from where, price, availability, selection. They were then asked to give their account of their experience in cyberspace stating advantages and disadvantages.

I thought the article was interesting. I was curious to read about what others felt was lacking in the interactive experience. I was also curious to know how easy/hard it was to find places to shop. I was disturbed to find out that it was so easy for them to purchase items on credit card, that were not theirs, with little or no resistance. I was also shocked to see how much was actually being purchased, by the youth or for that matter anyone, on the net.

I have looked for item online before and too was not pleased with the overall experience. The speed was slow, item unavailable, process sluggish, and items were no less cheap. I think if you buy online you should get a better price even after shipping and handling is added in. You don?t get the luxury of trying the item on for fit, feel of the texture, or if it even looks good in you. Not all stores have an online counterpart and what about finding stores that aren?t common to your region or area. I think the web is a long way from being a substitute for the real thing.

This is a very hot topic and is definitely the future of shopping. It will change the whole shopping experience in many ways. You will be able to do you shopping from the convenience of your home avoiding lines and bad customer service. It wills save time and money. The relevant of this topic lies in that the biggest issue for most people is the speed at which the experience takes place. This is a connectivity issue of how fast the servers can communicate the information to the clients requesting it.
