Discussion Questions Chapter 10

1. What lessons do you draw from the repeated false starts of the CIBER team? The CIBER team seamed to underestimate the task at hand. They probably should have did some more research on the amount of capacity that they need to provide the service. Maybe even researched other similar situations they may not have been exactly the same but at least would have shed some light on the issue.
2. How could the process have been managed better? I think the best approach would have been more research on the part of the CIBER team. I think they completely underestimated the task with a lot of wasted time.
3. Comment on the final configuration. Can you suggest radically different configurations? If so, compare with the actual. I think the configuration of the system is probably going to be looked upon by others in similar situations as a lesson that they get to skip. It will serve as a good configuration example.
