Page 1 Respecting Murchison Duncan Murchison was well known as a first citizen of Lancaster-His elderly father is thought to have died in gaol in North Carolina,a victim of this loyalty to Geo III. His mother when widowed was pensioned by the British.

Charles Rose on Jan 17,1805 bought the W1/2 of Lot 8 in the 1stConcession(upon the lake) of Charlottenburgh just north of HamiltonsIsland.
