HISTORY OF BANDS I PLAYED IN
Band #1 (Unnamed)
(photo unavailable)
Summary:
This was the first band I ever played in.We started in 2001 if I recall correctly and actually started because I overheard some of the guys (Jeff and Andrew) talking about putting together a band during a game of wallyball. This band consisted of Andrew Rodriguez-Bass, Jeff Wallace-Guitar Ken Peltcher-Drums but we sometimes joined by Mario Montez who did some vocals. We made attemps to cover some Nirvana, Foo Fighters and even did an original punk song. Since all of us were fairly new to our instruments we never played a show and we spent our time working on covers and our own creative material. Drew described this band as "not ever existing" lol. I recall it as a undeveloped unorganized mix of various sounds. I still like to listen to those early recordings because it reminds me how far we've progressed as musicians. We joked about our song "Sorry" saying we were sorry that you had to listen to us because we sounded so bad lol.
Band #2
Summary:
The next band I played in was also unnamed. We starting jamming some time during June of 2003. This 3 piece band consisted of Andrew Rodriguez- bass, Garth Herman- guitar/vocals?, Ken Peltcher- drums. We played various modern versions of rock from heavy to light and also some mellow surf rock. Band broke up in June 2004.

Band #3 (The Finger)
Summary:
This groovy band played mostly covers of classic/folk rock and blues from the 60's and 70's. We got together in June of 2004 and we consisted of a 4 piece band as follows: Keith Lubow-Guitar, Gladys Ng- Bass, Andrew Rodriguez-Keys, Ken Peltcher- drums. We were really starting to sound like a band in my perspective. I pretty tight band with a great guitarist. We did studio style recordings of our tracks and extra tracks were layered. We even produced our first cd. In addition, we had one month to get our material together to play our (and my) first show at the Barselona in Pasadena which we taped live. Shortly thereafter I left them in November 2004.
UPDATE: You can hear very nicely recorded versions of some covers we did at our old (and hopefully still active) myspace music account located here:

Band #4 (The Opheus Project)
Summary:
The Orpheus project. We got together somewhere between August and September of 2005.This band is made up of Andrew Rodriguez- Vocals/Guitar/Bass, Jeff Wallace- Guitar/Vocals, Gladys Ng- Bass/Vocals. We consider ourselves a 90's on up modern rock band. We do covers of Stp and we are working on originals as well. This was the band I had the most fun in. After a month of preperation we played our first gig at the All Souls harvest festival in Alhambra. We disbanded in ? 200?
Performing with The Orpheus Project:
After last band:
Since then, I've performed and recorded with Under Crimson Skies which consisted of Alexis Soto guitar/vocals, Michael ? Bass guitar/Keys. I performed with them once at the Skyliner in LA.
After that, I musically reunited with some original members of Orpheus project for a while to help them do a two day jazz ensemble performance at a restaurant.
Since then starting in the beginning of 2010, I attempted to put together monthy freestyle open jam sessions with my current network of musicians just for getting back in the loop.
Me and some fellow musicians during one of our "open mic" sessions:
