Well, this is what she wanted and I'm not one to hold back people's deepest desires. So, I'd like to welcome Ania as eleventhprovince.com's official Minister for Pregnancy. Being halfway through her first pregnancy, Ania seems adequately experienced to deal with all the requirements of her posting. Her portfolio is simply to 'be pregnant and moan incessantly about having been pregnant every day afterwards'. I know I can trust you, Ania.
Ania was born in Poland of Ukranian parentage. She moved to Canada in the early nineties and is currently domiciled with her husband, Piotr, in Oakville, Ontario. She is based at Toronto's Lester B. Pearson Airport working as a flight attendant for Air Ontario, a regional partner of Air Canada. Be warned! If you are flying to Syracuse, Windsor, Montreal or Thunder Bay and are approached by a crazy, pregnant, Polish woman offering you a G&T and trying to tell you about the nocturnal white horses she keeps in her back yard, don't call the mental asylum, it's all part of a "care in the community" employment project.
When she's not flying high above the skies of Ontario and consuming a bucket of blackcurrant vodka, Ania enjoys collecting ring-pulls off cans of drink, and is a commited member of the Bronte Welsh Mixed Choir, specialising in hymns and anthems from the valleys and the coal mines. When does the CD come out then, Ania?
