Windows 98 Plus Pack

Microsoft is planning to release an add-on pack for Windows 98 concurrent with the launch of the new operating system. This add-on is named the Plus98 Pack. Pricing is not available as of this time.

Plus98 Pack Features:

Desktop Themes: Much like the Windows 95 Plus Pack, these give themes backgrounds, icons, sounds, etc.

McAfee Virus Scan: virus scanning software.

File Cleaner: Searches for and deletes unneeded files. (Sounds scary don't it?)

Deluxe CD Player: An enhanced CD-Player applet that will download CD information automatically from the Internet.

Start Menu Cleaner: Auto-organizes your start menu, cleaning up empty groups and such.

Games: Three new games: a Golf 1998 demo, Lose Your Marbles, and Spider Solitaire.

Compressed Folders: Allows easy drag/drop manipulation of compressed files

Picture It! Express: a lite version of Microsoft's Picture It image editor
