(Welcome to my First Homepage)
(Hi, my name is Daffy, and me and my best friends decided to put up a website. Because we are just newbies we hope you will forgive us if we make some mistakes. Everyone on the Web was a newbie once, and besides, you look like a kind and forgiving person.)

You may send me an email. I love to get mail. [email protected]
Below is an example of an image link to another page or site....
This page was developed by me using templates found at)
[email protected]
(This should give you some ideas on a page...To download this example and work with it FIRST make yourself a subdirectory on your hard drive and name it _My website. The reason I use an underscore in the beginning is that it will be right near the top of the C:\ directory...just another little trick in organization...
Now use the FILE tab on your browser and save the page into your new directory as....newbie.html. Then right click your mouse over each image except for the adverts (they are sent to your page and do not come from your own site)...and save as...(the name of each image will be evident).
When all is 'downloaded' then open the .html files in a wordprocessor like Notepad and have a look...looks like a lot of mumbo-jumbo..but you will find some text that looks familiar. Start with those, change them and load the page into your browser (you don't have to be online for this). Some images look like they have some text embedded, run your mouse over them to check, then have a look at the code. Refresh or reload the browser after each change and you will get the hang of it...it won't take long. (A trick some of us use is to make another subdirectory in our website directory named 'images' which holds all the image files. This keeps the text and images separate and more organized.) Have fun, I am sure that you will soon get the idea of how to rearrange everything with your own images and text. I would love to hear from you.
Good luck,
Eddie)
