Ghost Bear's Legacy was eagerly awaited but wasn't quite a revolution when it arrived. It introduced new environments (underwater, arctic, and more), new mechs (such as Behemoth and Horned Owl), and plenty of new equipment that would become familiar to later Mercenaries players, like Arrow IV, Infernos, Flamers, and NARC beacons. The missions are infamous for their difficulty (and the computer's annoying habit of tracking the number of retries!), especially the outerspace and underwater missions which continue to stump players even today. No FAQs ever appeared, and no walkthroughs have ever been published, so content here is relatively bare.

Hold ALT+CTRL+SHIFT while typing in these codes (without the
colon!):
Clark: Wireframe View
Kent: Invulnerability
Burr: Disable heat tracking
Thundros: Infinite Ammo
Jumbo: Jumpjets
Crillion: Infinite jumpjets
Palex: Destroy targeted mech
Putz: End mission succesfully
Drone: Turn external camera into a drone.
Controls: Ctrl+arrow keys and zoom keys to control drone camera

Ice Hall - Click on the light on the left side of the
screen.
Barracks - Click on the poster on the right side of the
screen in front of the mission computer projector.
Drop ship - Click on the white computer screen to the
right of the mission computer.
Final
Trials Of Bloodright
Complete all missions without any failures to get to the Trials
of Bloodright after the last mission. A number next to your name
on the registration screen indicates a failure. Press
[Esc] and select the "Flee to DOS" option
before the mission ends to prevent the failure from being
recorded. Note: You may also enable the "Invincibility"
or "End mission successfully" to accomplish this task.
Mission Select
Enter FREEBIRTHTOAD as the name of a newly created
mechwarrior.
Mechwarrior: The Titanium Trilogy Cheat Codes
These cheats worked with the 3dfx upgrade to Mercenaries, now
they work with ALL THREE games: Mechwarrior 2, Ghost Bear's
Legacy and Mercenaries. These cheats are for ALL THREE games in
the Titanium Trilogy. During gameply, hold down ALT+CTRL+SHIFT
and type in:
be - Enable Free-Eye mode
cr - Unlimited jump jet fuel
in - Gain jump jets
is - Unlimited ammo on/off
it - "Nuke" current target
li - Win mission
oo - Heat tracking on/off
re - Destroy current target
su - Invulnerability on/off
wa - Leading reticle
fl - Auto group weapons (do not enable this code
followed by any code that starts with "i", since it
will be misinterpreted by the CPU as the level skip code.)
