This ship resembles a larger version of the TIE Advanced that it was built from. Nearly all of Alecks ideas after the battle for Starlyte Station were almost totally incorporated into the new design by Scizzic.
The modified TIE Advanced features a completely re-designed space frame and a dura-steel alloy hull that is reinforced by added armor. The bent wing design has been preserved, and it now includes more armor and enhanced sensors for scanning and radar jamming.
The new design features two twin laser cannons mounted on the sides of the cockpit, and a third twin mounted on the underbelly that can rotate to fire on targets to the sides and rear. The shield generators have been boosted using power from the newly designed engine developed specifically for this ship. The modest hyperdrive system has been replaced with a long-range system similar to that used in X-wing fighters. Finally, a life support system has been added to the cockpit to allow the pilot and companions to fly without wearing a space suit.
