Information
When is it?
This story takes place after the events of Transformers
#119, set in 2007.
Continuity scmontinuity
This story is set in the future, after the events
of the movie, and after Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge, as well as Death's
Head, Wreck-gar and some Autobots travelled back in time to the late 80's.
However, all the aforementioned, with the exception of Galvatron are back,
returned to 2007 in #119. As a certain bou - freelance peacekeeper might
say, "Complicated, yes?".
Please welcome...
As far as I know, this is Blot's first appearance
in a UK story, in a nice cushy office job on the planet of Scarvix (which
I have no idea about, btw). It also has a slightly emotional first proper
post-2006 appearance for Shockwave, laughing his head off. Plus, we see
several un-named 'bots and 'cons, which, if this were Star Trek, I believe
the term used to describe the un-named Autobots would be "Red-shirts".
Bloopers
None that I see, other than Rodimus complaining
about the war dragging on. It's lasted 4 million years already - why can't
he bear to fight for a few more years?
Musings of a Transformer comic reading disciple
We see Death's Head at his lethal best in this
issue, as he kills an entire Autobot patrol, threatens a Terrorcon and
has Rodimus Prime at his knees. He manages to beat Rodimus as easily and
fiercely as he beat Cyclonus and Scourge in issue #113 - if not more so.
Is there no stopping this man?
We also see the war on Cybertron - more casualties,
another stalemated situation. Do the deaths of the patrolling Autobots
have any effect on the war? Probably not. Plenty more where they came from.
As long as no-one tries to think up names
for them...
