When is it?

This story takes place after the capture of the surviving Mayhem Attack Squad members. In US terms, probably between #62 and #63 (Assuming a l a r g e time frame). Continuity scmontinuity Well, the second Mayhem Attack Squad was formed way back in #229, and now, a year later all but Bludgeon, Stranglehold and Octopunch have been killed. There is some debate as to how this fits in with American continuity, as Needlenose and Spinister, two other members of the squad were killed in in the early 270s, but were also seen during the Matrix Quest, in issues #262-264 (US #62). I can only guess (As I've not read those issues this decade) that US #62 took place, and Needlenose and Spinister lost their binary-chums during or after that issue, and joined the Cybertronian Decepticons. They were put into the Mayhem Attack Squad, and subsequently killed by Carnivac, while the three Pretenders survived to be captured. So, the events of UK #229 took place after #262. Riiiight.

Please welcome... No newbies in this short story. Bloopers Other than Inferno's, none. Musings of a Transformer comic reading disciple Another good little story from Furman which sees the release of the Mayhems, three bad-ass and extremely important Pretender Decepticons. I question the wisdom of Earthforce in this issue, using a button as the primary alarm switch and using no security cameras. But then, Bludgeon and cohorts couldn't escape, could they?
