This is just a silly little project I felt like showing off.
A few months ago we got a new Play-Doh set for the kids, and every
time we broke out the set, I ended up getting bored rather quickly. After
the third or fourth time, I made a totally non-serious R2-D2. I didn't
bother using any tools, so he came out a bit simplistic and kind of pudgy.
I decided that it must actually be a "super-deformed" version of the
astromech droid, a humorous style of character prevalent in Japan. Well,
a super-deformed C-3PO wasn't too far behind after that. Projects are
shown life-sized.
