This is obviously a b-wing starfighter.It is a heavy bomber.It is used for damaging capital ships and planetary bases.
This is x-wings, Mon Calamari cruisers, Corelian Corvettes, and Escort Frigates.A nice photo oppurtunity. Wait in the very back, I see some rebel transports.
These x-wings have finished a raid and are heading home victorious but in fewer numbers. The TIEs following them aren't exactly throwing them a going away party.
This is the rebel force sent to destroy the first Death Star.If you have an good eye you might be able to tell some are different. I spotted some Y-wings, they look like x-wings in cruise position. I suspect this image is from the special edition because you can see the helmet in the first x wing's canopy.
Meet Boba Fett, bounty hunter extrordinare.His real name is Jaster Mereel.His outfit is authentic Mandalorian armor, complete with helmet and a matched pair of wrist rockets.Mandalorian armor is rare and expensive, just like Fett. He commands top prices because only Han Solo ever escaped capture from the infamous hunter. He flies a heavily modified Firespray-class enforcer ship, the Slave 1. With his piloting skills, the Slave 1 is ready to track the next prey. This is a photo of Fett on the skiff barge as Jabba the Hutt tried to feed Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Luke to the Sarlacc. The nearly blind Solo hit Fett's jet pack with a spear and Fett slammed into the sail barge before plummeting into the Sarlacc's belly. Everyone thought he was dead but he blew up the sarlacc after about a week or two. The bounty hunter Dengar found him and nursed him back to health.
This is a photo of Darth Vader. His real name is Anakin Skywalker. He was seduced by the "dark side of the force". In this photo he is choking the captain of Leia Organa's Corellion Corvette(a.k.a. Rebel Blockade runner) the Tantative IV(he doesn't know Leia is his daughter yet). I wonder why he hasn't got Humanitarian of the Galaxy award yet.Hmm. The people around him are stormtroopers, the Empire's foot soldiers.
This is a Tie Intercepter. It is fast, manuverable, relatively inexpsensive(compared to the rebel's fighters), but lightly armed and armored. Four lasers but no torpedos or missles means it poses little threat to a capital ship. And no shields and almost nonexistent armor means a lucky shot and the fighter is gone. It also has trouble manuvering in atmosphere because of its unaerodynamic design. It can however fly at high speeds and manuvers well in space so it gets its share of kills.
This is Han Solo and Chewbacca's legendary space freighter the Millenium Falcon. It has been their ship since Han won it off his buddy Lando Calrissian and a high stakes sabbac game on Cloud City.He also won enough money to make it into the ship of his dreams. The Falcon started out its life as a Corellian YT1300 stock freighter.Lando acquired it used(also in a sabbac match). The Falcon has two quad laser turrets, a concussion missle launcher, and military grade shields and jammers. But the most amazing thing is the Falcon's engines. It's sublight(for use in regular space) engines are very speedy. But it's hyperdrive engines steal the show. Its hyperdrive makes it point five past lightspeed. It is twice as fast in hyperspace as the fastest military ships! Han and Chewie have used it to get to some of the worst scrapes in history.
