Background
The year is 2071 and space is connected through a series of warp gates.
  Much of humanity has migrated to the various planets, moons, and man-made
 satelites in the solar system.  Most of the rest of people have moved 
underground as a result of debris of the destroyed moon periodicaly raining
 down on the surface.  Villians roam the cosmos. With no Police in charge
 of space, someone has to take down the bad guys (for a price).
Story
Spike and his partner Jett are highly skilled bounty hunters hunting down
 the highest bounties, and barely making endsmeat in the process. One thing
 or anonther always goes wrong so they're broke a lot of the time. 

Plot grade
8 - Most of the eppisodes are independant so there is not much of an 
ongoing storyline, besides the insights into the past. Also, many viewers
 might be confused at first being thrust into the storyline. Otherwise 
the plot is Excellent.
animation grade
10 - The animation is perfect.

music grade
8 - The soundtrack is a great combination of blues and western and
 the opening theme: "Tank!" is just to die for.

Overall Grade
8.5 -  The best attraction for me is the combination of Action/Adventure/SciFi
with the addition of the occasional slapstick thrown in.  Cowboy Bebop is 
worth checking out.  Watch it on Cartoon Network at 12 am est/pacific saturday nights.
