Steven Parks was the big man on campus and wanted Buddy's'  then girlfriend Carla Works and would do what ever it took to have her.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>The entire school laughed at him when ever he would walk by them, the girls avoided him in affect he was blackballed by everyone including Carla and the whole town, his father told him to keep it to himself he understood how small towns worked and knew how small minded most of them were.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Buddy thought his friends would stand by him and he was dead wrong but nothing hurt him as much as Carla leaving him they had been going steady since the 6th grade, now she avoided him like he had the plaque. It broke his heart when he found out she was dating his arch enemy Steven, it was the last straw he quit school and ran off into the night ending up 60 miles away just 30 miles on the other side of Little Rock.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B> He got a job working on the farm of the Arron family. Rich Arron paid him three hundred dollars a month plus room and board. The Arrons' were a god fearing family of six three sons and one daughter, Josh was eighteen and a few months older then Buddy was David was seventeen Rich jr. was the baby at twelve and Nicole was sixteen, and she had an instant crush on a near nineteen Buddy Jenkins who was 6'4 and one half inches tall and weighted 245 pounds he was solid muscle he looked like he was chiseled out of granite, he had blue eyes and sandy colored hair and was in Nicole's words dreamy.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B> She was a 5'6 138 pound full figured gal with strawberry blonde hair and an infectious smile, they fell for each other almost at the same time, her mother thought it was nice and Buddy sweet, but her father had a different opinion on the subject and he got right in Buddy's face telling him how it was going to be he didn't like the implications and had to head off the young stallion before he could work up a head of steam. "Stay well away from my only daughter or I'll send you packing and well bruised you get me ?" Buddy didn't have anywhere else to go so he shook his yes and tried not to think about the sweet blonde hair.</B></div> <div> <B>He wasn't about to bite the hand that feed him. Rich had been young once and knew what a young man was all about, but relented a year later after Nicole had graduated and told him in no uncertain terms that she would date who ever she wanted and that if he could not handle it that she would leave to be with Buddy "I can date who ever I darn well please!" Seeing her convictions he gave in and allowed them to date. They went to movies mostly and Rich sr. always sent Rich jr. with them.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B> On one of those occasions Rich jr. in tow of course, the happy couple ran into Carla Works and her beau Steven Parks they were coming out of the theater as Buddy, Nicole and Rich jr. were going in. Carla wouldn't look at him but she did check out Nicole she thought she was pretty and deep down inside herself she was happy for him what with how she treated him and all, but Steven saw it as yet one more opportunity to stick it to him one more time.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B> He asked If the flying saucer made him do horrible things to the pretty blonde on his arm, Buddy lost it just as it started raining attacking Steven with a vengeance that had been building for near two years, he had never told Nicole or any one else what happened to him back homes he thought about it now made him hit Steve again and again with more force with each punch, both women yelled for him to stop as the rain came down side ways and in torrents Buddy rain down punches with the fury of a hurricane. When he finally stopped hitting Steven's face was a bloody pulp and he was unconscious,  when Buddy saw that Nicole was crying and he looked down at what he had done to Steven he ran away, Nicole and Rich jr. chased after him.</B></div> </td> </tr></table></body>
