OCS STUDENTS!

Don't let the board take away our mascot! Why should a board, which we never voted for, and whom two members were never voted in by ANYONE, have impunity to take away OUR mascot without OUR consent? Do any of THEM play on athletic teams? Why would it mean anything to THEM? We CANNOT let this happen! I urge all of you to sign as many petitions as you can!

The school board is always appointed by the taxpayers of OCS district. But WE never voted for them! Heck, two of them weren't voted for by ANYONE! Now, can we let THEM take away OUR mascot without OUR consent? NO! Those who claim that it is racial prejudice, please consider that there was no worry or thought about prejudice until YOU came along! The Indian is a sign of strength and honor, and we are NOT in ANY WAY prejudice against Native Americans. Why would we put a wonderful painting on the wall such as is in our gym room, if we were against them?
