Newgrange
Newgrange is located in a place called Bru na Boinne in early Irish literature, which means "the House or Mansion of the Boyne." It is among the oldest tombs known to us, but we don't know exactly how old it is. Some claim it is older than the Egyptian pyramid of Giza.
Tourists flock here at the time of the winter solstice to witness the amazing abilities of its creators. For it's more than a tomb, it's one of the oldest astronomically aligned monuments known to mankind. Sunlight pierces the inner most chamber for about 15 minutes during the winter solstice. (A special aperture above the tomb's entrance allows this.) It's thought to symbolize a marriage between earth and sun that would bring fertillity to the ground for the new year.
Also check out the carvings that some have called "the greatest collection of megalithic art in the world." Most impressive! These carvings probably have meaning only to their makers, but hey, you never know!
From far away it looks sort of like a weird hill and from above it's a grassy thingy
