Just Running Fic Ideas By the Lights?

    More mail, for all three of you this time!

    Gee, I wonder what's got into her?  *shrugs and starts reading letter*

Hi, Lights! (get the pun?  highlights?  I like puns!)

    So ka. . .  Well, that explains it. . .

    I've got a sinking feeling this one's gonna turn ugly!

    But this is fanmail, Yaten!  Why would our fans ever want to insult us?

    *laughs*  Haven't been to many fanmail sites, have you, Taiki?

I have some questions:
1) Taiki, who's more reserved, you or Sailor Pluto?

    I don't think I'm qualified to say; I don't really know Meiou-san that well, but--

    Who're you kidding, Taiki?  You're like a nun!  If she's had one sexual thought in her life, she's one up on you!

    *makes a sour face*  And where in that question did it specify "sexually?"

2) On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most, how reserved are you?

    *pointing*  10!

    8.5, at most!  What kind of friends are you?

    *cheesy smile*  Honest?

    *scowls*

 Sailor Pluto?

    Again, I don't feel I know her well enough to judge.

    But she can't be any worse than Taiki, that's for sure!

3) Seiya, I'd like to romantically pair you up with Hotaru!  What do you think?

    Hotaru-san?  Which one is that again?

    The little dark-haired one, I think.

    Ah.  *puzzled look gives way to sudden recognition*  Eew!  Gods, no!  Is she even old enough?  And she is so not my type!  No offence, but that kid's kinda gothic and creepy.  I like girls with bright eyes and shining personalities instead.

    And being a princess doesn't hurt, either, eh, Seiya?

    *thumps Yaten*  Urusai!

4) Taiki, I think you'd make a good friend for Chibi-Usa.  (and by the way, I like Chibi-Usa and you both)

    What's a "Chibi-Usa?"  Some kind of small rabbit?

    *magically pops back in to show pictures*  The little pink-haired girl here, see?  I don't think you've met, at least not in the anime. . .  *avoids manga, gomen*  She's kawaii and precocious, though.  I kind of like her.

    She looks so young, I can't imagine what we'd have in common!  I think I'd be a better baby-sitter than friend.

    *sees dangerous part of letter coming and panics*  Oops, look at the time!  Gotta get going again!  *magically blinks back out*

    How does she do that?

5) In my stories, I write you as girls,

    We are girls!  It's those dumb animators who drew us as boys sometimes.

and I give you specific birth orders and ages.

    So what's wrong with the ones our creator gave us?

Seiya, the oldest, is 17, Yaten is the middle child at age 14, and Taiki is the baby of the family at age 11.  What do you think of that?

    Two problems with that:  1. we're all the same age, and 2. we're not even related!

    *blinks*  I'm eleven?

    Must be big for your age. . .

    *frustrated sigh*  Just stick to the facts, okay?  We've got enough problems with Internet rumours already without starting more!

    *shrugs* It's just fanfic. I like fanfic!

    . . . she says, because she likes being paired with Tsukino-san. . .
    *clears throat and continues*  I know fanfic authors take liberties, but I'm afraid I largely agree with Yaten here.  There are so many lies about us already, and so many newbies who don't know any better, it's best to base fanfics on truth as much as possible.  You'd be amazed how many Internet rumours have started from fanfics!

Sorry, Yaten, but you're my least favorite Sailor Senshi.  Ha, ha!  See, an honest person's opinion, just like you like!

    *shrugs*  Like I care what any Earth people think of me!

    Be nice!  At least (s)he's honest!

    Yeah?  Well, if (s)he's so honest, why's (s)he change all our birthdates and try to turn us into family?

And I've seen the whole Stars season, so don't say I don't know you, Yaten the bratten.

    I say if you've seen it, you must not have paid much attention, 'cause you sure don't know much about us from what I've read!

    You should be more tolerant; as far as we know, those were only fanfic changes, not what (s)he really believes.

    Either that, or (s)he's been watching some awful dub, to make that many changes!
