Knight in Shining Armour

When hope was scarce
and pain abundant
you steped into my life
you showed me light,
where I saw dark
and when I saw Fear
you drew me near
giving me love
like no other
you stole my heart
from the hands of another
wrongly placed
and cruely kept
to hold it close,
and take such care
