The info I used to do this mod is at this website:
http://members.easyspace.com/xjayx/vm68.htm
However, since it is hard to understand I made this page to help explain
it...
This Mod involves 3 parts for shortening the trigger pull...
1. Remove ONLY this pin that is circled in red... This is the pin
that keeps your primary sear from moving so
far forward...
2. Take the pin and go to your local hardware store... Find a tube
that fits around the pin... Get a couple of different
sizes so you can work with it... You can either
sand a tube to the proper size you want if you are unable to find
one of a proper size at the store...
3. Next put the tube & pin back into the gun and u will notice
the primary sear has a small gap with the
secondary sear... Which will lead us into the
next phase of this mod process...
Shortening the distance the trigger moves forward:
1. Find a piece of thin sheet metal... Machine it to look like a
rectangle that is fairly thin...
Acquire a drill, drill bit, tap, and screw for
this step...
2. Drill a hole in front of the trigger, mine is about 3/8" to 1/2"
from the trigger, like seen below and tap it...
BE CAREFUL not to drill through and vital
parts in the housing...
Shortening the distance the trigger moves backward:
1. For the step, you will need a drill, drill bit, tap and a screw
under 1/2" long... Drill and tap the trigger
block but being careful to stay in the middle
of the block and not drilling into the hole where the
vertical white line is below...
Finished examples of this mod:
This attempt at the mod shortened it a little to much causing the gun
to go full auto if the trigger was held down...
If only the gun would feed paintballs that fast :)...
