Saga Frontier

Gametype: RPG (sortof)
Platform: PSX
This is the most interesting... no, unique
games I have ever played. The game is totally cetered on the
story. Very little work is done by you. in fact, the only hard
part is figuring out combos and spells. The weopon part of the
game is very different. Your attacks are based an your weopon,
and everyone can use every wepon. If they have a wooden staff,
then they will use staff attacks and tree spells. And once one
person lernse an attack, everyone can equip the attack. But each
person can only have 10 attacks equiped.
There are two modes of fighting, of which somtims you have a
choice.if you go solo, you and the monster square off mono-e-mono.
If you go team, you have multiple monsters and all of your party
fights, plus you (and the enemy) can pull off combos with multiple
charecters attacking at once, causing massive dammage, but like
Chrono Cross, the attacks must be simmilar or compatable.
I was saving the best for last. The graphics. Battles are a waste
of space, but the prerendered, pastel scenery is amazing. Youll
find yourself gazing at the butifully drawn sunsets and feilds,
and the castles look as if they were pulled from a storybook.
If you like an epic story, this is the
perfect game for you. If you like the battles and puzzles, I
recomend FFIX, Chrono Cross, or Wild Arms 2.
