This   is where the Department Heads, and there assitants can give orders to the rest of the ship. If a Department Head is not on the Bridge, their Assitant takes over. For example, If Vice Admiral Ramuis was need in a meeting, his Commander JoAnna Boleyn  would take over his position.

The Various Alert conditions


Alert Status  Meaning of Alert staus
Red Alert This the highest level of readiness that a starship can be at. This means that all the seinor staff report to thier duty stations and the crew reports to there duty stations. The Tomic is prepared for multi Vector Assualt mode
Yellow Alert This the second highest alert status on a starship. When called, the shields are raised. The weapons are armed. The crew rigs the ship for battle
Cruise Mode This is the standard operating mode of a starship. 
Docking/Separation mode This is the Alert condition called when the ship is docking at a starbase or reconnecting after a multi-vector assualt mode is called.
