Me

by Lindsey

Jake:

As a lizard, I'm a skittery thing,

As a peregrine, I love to take wing.

As a tiger, I feel I'm pure power,

But when I'm human, from the Yeerks I cower.

Marco:

As a bird, I soar through the air,

As a spider, I giv e the girls a scare.

As a shark, I own the open sea,

But when I'm human, girls love me.

Tobias:

As a cat, I was graceful as can be,

As an Andalite, well, that just wasn't me.

As a raccoon, I escaped having to die,

But when I'm hawk, I just want to fly.

Ax:

As a shark, I found many a new friend,

As a mosquito, I felt my life almost end.

As a human, I try to fit in,

But when I'm Andalite, I'm considered an alien.

Cassie:

As a dolphin, I was pure grace,

As a horse, I experienced a race.

As a wolf, in many wars I've been,

But when I'm human, I find sometimes I just can't win.

Rachel:

As a cat, I almost got caught,

As a starfish, well, perfect I'm not.

As a grizzly, I have muscles of steel,

But when I'm human, I know pain is real.

We each have our morals,

And opinions and such.

But for a small group of kids,

we've done too much.

The Yeerks are invading,

Invading our Earth.

And we're taking this fight,

For all it's worth.

We've taken a lot of lives,

And committed many a sin.

But one thing's for sure,

WE'RE GOING TO WIN!
