Here is new stuff as it happens. I might also write poems or my thoughts on subjects in this space. If you have questions or comments feel free to contact me at [email protected]

Here's a little literary humor. It was originally a "Calvin and Hobbes" comic strip, but it has been changed to protect the innocent. The "Ross" refered to in it is my friend Ross (Dark Horse), who shares the same love of Lovecraft's work that I do.

Well, it's been quite awhile since I've updated these pages. I guess I really doesn't matter though, since no one cares anyway! But, I need something to do, so here goes a couple of updates:

I got married!

I should have pictures of that up soon.

#2

Well, with the opening of "Episode 1: The Phantom Menace" only 2 days away, I feel I must comment on it. First off: I'm a Star Wars fan. No Doubt about it. My fiance and I already bought T-shirts that we will wear on Wednesday, and we are thinking of painting our faces like Darth Maul and Queen Amidala. Once again, we are fans. Secondly, I like films. I see at least 1 movie a week in the theaters, and I enjoy a wide range of styles. i.e. I liked "Hope Floats" and "The Matrix" equally. I enjoy the experience that movies (good or bad) have to offer. So, I am looking forward to the new Star Wars movies for one reason: they will be FUN. They will not be the most brilliant piece of film making since "Citizen Kane", but they will be a great piece of eye-candy, bubble gum funness.

Another thing that "gets my goat" about this whole star wars hype is the pre-reviews by critics. One critic exclaimed that this prequel was so simplistic and child-like, nowhere near the complexity that the first trilogy had reached. Hello? do you remember the same "Return of the Jedi" that I do? No offense to the rest of the fans, but the plot was moronic. The Ewoks? The whole boring Yoda part? Han Solo had totally become domesticated by this one! Face it: It was just a fun movie that worked only on the basis of special effects, and adrenalin. It conclusion: These movies won't change the world. They are merely "FUN". This isn't the second coming of Christ or anything. IT'S A MOVIE!

Sorry. I just needed to get that out.

Oh, another thing, the Frodus scheme link isn't working right now, and I'm trying to remedy that. If you want it, please check back later.

Howdy! I Started this page today to vent things, and leave goodies that don't really fit anywhere else. First off, some venting:

  1. Mis-quoting. Now I know that the whole situation in Littleton CO was awful, and I grieve the loss of those bright lives that were snuffed out by the killers, and I hope and pray that the town and it's occupants will heal quickly, but I have a little problem with the press coverage. In most publications that have put up a little "bio" of the two killers they attribute Eric Harris as saying on his web page (or AOL profile, depending on your source) "Kill 'em ALLLLLLLL!" Very harrowing stuff, huh? Makes you wonder why people didn't catch on to his intentions sooner. Well, as I've heard more about the previous quote, it turns out that the quote came from the instructions on one of his DOOM levels. OK, we all know that he did it and that's disturbing enough. But the inclusion of the quote from his DOOM level seems to me to be just looking into things a little too much. If you went and looked at all the instructions for all DOOM levels available over the internet, I bet you would find something along the lines of "Kill 'Em ALLLL" in just about every one of them, because that's the nature of the game. The goal is to kill all of the monsters and get out alive. I just think people are looking too hard to find a reason, or warning for these deaths. I think the video they made was warning enough. Stop searching EVERYTHING with a fine toothed comb. If you disagree with me let me know, or if you have further information that I have missed, I would love to hear it.
  2. This really isn't a complaint, but just a thought. Try looking at the world differently sometime. Pretend you've never been here before, and just take in all the sights and sounds and smells. I tried this on my drive to work recently, and I was amazed at all the stuff I just took for granted and passed by everyday. We really do live in a incredible world, whether you live in the country, city, or suburbs, there is beauty everywhere!
  3. Tell the people you love, that you love them, and do things to demonstrate that love. Don't let your anger get the best of you, remember that we are all human, and we all make the same dumb mistakes at one time or another.
  4. Here's some stuff!
Here's a Frodus Win95 scheme. (sort of)

It contains Start Up/Shut Down screens,

wallpaper, and a few sounds!
