elcome to The Blood Mill, soon to be your online source for all things HORROR. Like most horror fans, I have had a deep, abiding love for the horror genre in it's various incarnations since early childhood.
I suppose you could say I cut my "fangs" on it. From television shows like "Night Gallery" to "Tales From The Darkside" to even short-lived programs like "The Darkroom," hosted by none other than James Coburn. From "Dracula," with Bela Lugosi to "Day Of The Dead." I must have seen James Whale's "FRANKENSTEIN" and all of its sequels about 10 times each. Thank goodness for late night horror hosts, eh?
Then, of course, there are the monoliths of the written word. Lovecraft's "The Call of Cthulu" laid but one of the cornerstones for later works like Karl Edward Wagner's "Sticks." Let us also not forget the horror comics, like DC's "GHOSTS" and "Tales Of The Unexpected." "EERIE" and "CREEPY" were mainstays in the horror fan's comic collection. (I even stumbled upon an old issue of a comic titled "WEIRD" that was just that).
In any event, this site is dedicated to the horror genre, whether it's literature, film, or television. I can't wait to hear from you, to get your ideas on what you'd like to see here at The Blood Mill and things you want to discuss. You can e-mail me personally or string everyone along on the Message Board. You can even vote for personal favorites in the Polls.
So, without further ado, let's explore your fear. Click on one of the blood(mill) pools below to peruse the site. But don't get lost. Some halls are very dark...
